We're in!
Our proposal to present at the UNT L2 Acquisition course has been accepted. Our department will be represented by Alina, Cecilia and Carlos and we'll be discussing 'The Use of Electronic Texts in the L2 Classroom.' We're presenting on Saturday morning April 14, and the school is sponsoring us. It would be great if you could attend and cheer for us!

I´m really happy about this, it´s a step forward. I know Alina and Cecilia has been working hard because they are busy with their jobs and family. Congratulations!!!
Sorry for not having reacted before, but I took the weekend to reflect on your presentation.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!You really made me think I want to "think outside of the box" and begin trying. I know it takes time, but the introduction you showed about how ignorant teachers are concerning the use of technology, honestly killed me!!
I wouldn´t like to be included in those percentages, when I know that I have the human and technological resources to carry out actions.
You were bright, as always. I didn´t expect anything different.Thank you for the impulse you gave me.Now, I´ll ask for help...
You know? That day in the afternoon, I went to the cinema with my daughters to see the film "La Familia del Futuro".I thought that each character would have his/her own blog!!!!But that doesn´t happen. However, I was moved by the final phrase, which is a clear homage to Mickey Mouse´s father, Walt Disney, the symbol of eternity.
In the film, his signed message is in Spanish:
"Camina hacia el futuro, es la curiosidad la que nos lleva a nuevos caminos, no nos quedemos mirando hacia atrás, o no te quedes en el pasado".
WALT DISNEY
And I could get the original message in English:
"Around here, however, we don´t look backwards for very long, we keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things...and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths".
From my heart, ALINA, CECILIA and CHARLY, thank you for having been my WALT DISNEY that Saturday morning...
