Welcome back everyone! Probably like you, I'm still coming to terms with the idea that soon there will be no more staying in bed late in the morning, or leisure reading or siesta any time of day. However, I am looking forward to seeing you all!
As most of you will be coming to school for 'consultas' tomorrow Monday 11 and Tuesday 12, I just wanted to let you know that I'm not likely to be at school either day as I have no 'consultas' this year! Also, the most important news is that until further notice there will be no IB writing workshop this month. Announced as a possibility in December, it will not take place until I am fully prepared for it as I would like to and as you, my most qualified audience, truly deserve. Do not worry much about it, there is no crisis or any problem at all. I'll fill you in with more information in person whenever I see you at school, or via blog if it's necessary or urgent. Of course, if you'd like to talk before that, just give me a call.
Meanwhile, I'll be meeting with Edith sometime this week to discuss a couple of curriculum changes in 5th and 6th grade. Eventually I might invite the 7th Year team and whoever else would like to come for a 6th-7th Year teachers meeting. The details will be arranged with Edith and I'll let you know right away.
